Empire State Building Lights Turn Seasonal in November
Having already been illuminated in colors that commemorated the NYC Marathon, Election Day, Veterans Day and several other worthy causes in November, the Empire State Building still has a half-month of themed lighting planned to delight residents and visitors to New York City.
The schedule for the remainder of November is as follows:
Wed. Nov. 16 - Green, white and red in honor of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.
Th. Nov. 17 - Purple, purple and white in honor of March of Dimes and Prematurity Awareness Day.
Fri. - Sun. Nov. 18 through 20 - Green, green and red in honor of Marines’ Toys for Tots and the 12 Days of Arthur Christmas.
Wed.-Sun. Nov. 23-27 - Red, orange and yellow in celebration of Thanksgiving.
This schedule is subject to change.
On evenings when no "special" lighting has been designated, the top tiers of the Empire State Building are illuminated in white light.
