Earbender: Presently

We bemoan this evocative city of indulgences, inundations, attir'd with neon, data-bitten, fetishized, lovelycomehither, but I can divulge that an hour will come when you shall feel, fume, seethe with nothing. Nothing shall be dropped or lifted, vacuumed or packed, greeted or departed; rather, one will stroll in some form of solitude living for a moment in the hope of other moments that may just rise above the dishevelment and the stunned spaces.

That was a Denis Johnson moment I clutched at over the apparition of lunch last week. My own private dystopia. The redemption here is, as always the moozak.
