Baubles, Baubles, Everywhere…

The red carpet at the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards in LA was awash with glittering celebrities in covetable gowns and jewels. And, despite the ongoing frustration of the recession, a serious glam factor was on display. Stars opted for beautiful couture gowns and plenty of diamonds to flaunt their assets, as well as their style cred. One of my absolute favorites was Best Actress winner, Michelle Williams.

The pixie-haired blonde screen darling, who won for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in "My Week with Marilyn," was aglow in a gorgeous navy velvet printed dress. Her makeup was red-carpet pretty without being too intense, and her nails were a classic red. What made her stand out, aside from that well-earned Globe? The enviously beautiful accessories she donned for the evening.

Michelle selected a diamond garland headband by Fred Leighton for Forevermark to crown her head of short blonde hair. The headband added a graceful effect, modernizing her look and at once making a nod toward Old Hollywood glamour. In further tribute to days gone by, Michelle sported Fred Leighton for Forevermark diamond stud earrings that were both classic and classy. Always one to take a fashion risk (however small), Michelle also wore a diamond snake ring by the same brand, showing the diversity not only of the designer, but of the actress herself. Snakes are everywhere in jewelry right now, but to see one in diamond as opposed to costume jewelry is a special treat.

Another actress who favored pieces from the diamond powerhouse brand Forevermark last night is Ashley Madekwe (from the hit new show "Revenge"). She went all-out for the Globes in a lattice bracelet set, diamond Bubble Collection cuff, marquis ring, and tons of bangles by the brand. If you're dying to browse the looks and maybe even pick up a well-deserved diamond of your own, head to forevermark.com for jewelry photos, information, and where-to-buy details. Bonus? All Forevermark diamonds are certified as responsibly mined and sourced, meaning you're always making a smart choice when purchasing a piece with the Forevermark name attached.
