Family Fun: Weekend Edition
Free Admission to Brooklyn Children's Museum:
This weekend, February 4th and 5th, The Brooklyn Children's Museum is offering free admission from 2:00pm-5:00pm. Bring the kids and choose from eight different exhibits throughout the weekend. From puppet shows to art activities, bring out the creative side in kids as young as 18 months old. Recognized for their award-winning hands-on exhibits, The Brooklyn Children's Museum is the perfect place to spend your afternoon!

BAMKids Film Festival:
Downtown Brookyln's BAM is hosting its 14th annual BAMkids Film Festival. Known for its cultural influence, BAM is offering a mix of 73 films from 26 different countries. The lucky kids who attend this event will have more to enjoy besides the amazing films being shown. EatSleepPlay at the Children's Museum of Manhattan:
Our Health and Fitness blog explains the EatSleepPlay exhibit as "an excellent resource for parents looking for advice, research and information on issues that they may be going through with their children. These concerns span from whether or not a child is getting enough exercise to how their bedtimes (presumably getting later as they get older) could be impacting them. Besides being pretty interesting, the exhibit says that all of the fun kid-friendly activities and info is based on recently medical and behavioral research."

Free screening of Polar Express:
We mentioned the free screenings at the Sony Wonder Technology Lab via our twitter (@NewYorkcom) last week and this weekend, the lab is showing The Polar Express! Every Saturday at 2pm join the Sony Wonder Technology Lab as they show a selection of movies in Blu-ray high definition. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 212-833-8100. If you're not able to make reservations in advance, don't fret, remaining tickets will be distributed 30 minutes before the screening so make sure you show up on time. Enjoy your movie!

New York Rangers vs Philadelphia Flyers
