Get Tickets to See the NY Jets' 2011 NFL season
After two consecutive losses in the American Football Conference (AFC) Championship Game, the New York Jets hope that the 2011 NFL season ends with them punching their tickets to the Super Bowl.
Behind an offense led by QB Mark Sanchez and WRs Santonio Holmes and Plaxico Burress and a defense with CB Darrelle Revis and LB Bart Scott, the New York Jets should be primed to make a run at the AFC East crown with coach Rex Ryan at the helm.
The Jets 2011 NFL season starts at home on Sunday Sept. 11 against the Dallas Cowboys at New Meadowlands / Met Life Stadium in the Meadowlands. The Cowboys, behind QB Tony Romo and a fast, aggressive defense, are a possible NFC playoff team.
Other Jets homes games in the first-half of the 2011 NFL season are against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the division-rival Miami Dolphins and the high-powered San Diego Chargers, who are also hoping to make the Super Bowl out of the AFC this year.
Hot tickets for second-half of the season are home games against the Jets biggest rival, the New England Patriots and against the nearby New York Giants, with whom the team brawled in the preseason.
