Celia Keenan-Bolger, Best Featured Actress in a PlayThe Glass Menagerie
ABC Kitchen on 18th and Broadway. I went there to celebrate this Tony nomination. It has the most delicious fresh food in New York consistently. You’ve got to have the crab toast.”

Reed Birney, Best Featured Actor in a Play, Casa Valentina
Joe Allen because it’s been there forever. The food is great and it’s unchanged. I find it enormously comforting to go there.”

Anika Noni Rose, Best Featured Actress in a Play, A Raisin in the Sun
“One of my favorites is La Masseria on 48th and Eighth Ave. The service is impeccable, the food is fantastic. I’m always treated well there and I really like the ambiance.”

Nick Cordero, Best Featured Actor in a Musical, Bullets Over Broadway
Becco on 46th Street. Great Italian food. They have great pasta specials there every day so I like to switch it up.”

Leigh Silverman, Best Director of a Musical, Violet
“Last night I was Mercato on 39th and Ninth and I had a really beautiful glass of wine and some pasta. It was cozy and fantastic.”

Jason Robert Brown, Best Original Score, The Bridges of Madison County
“I have a real weakness for Bar Americain on 52nd, just off Sixth Ave. They have these homemade potato chips with a blue cheese dressing that will break your heart. Just unbelievable.”

Alan Menken, Best Original Score, Aladdin
Le Bernardin. Because it’s quiet. But my big indulgence is sushi bars, but I don’t want to give the names of my favorite sushi bars because I don’t want them to get crowded.”

Arielle Tepper Madover, producer, Best Revival of a Play, The Cripple of Inishmaan
Gramercy Tavern. I have a lot of food allergies and they will make anything that I want.”

Beowulf Boritt, Best Scenic Design of a Play, Act One
“The place that I go the most is a little place called the Madison Restaurant on 53rd and First, because it’s across the street from my house. We all have our little diners that become our second offices. It’s my old faithful. My wife and I go there once or twice a week.”
