The book is written by Andrew Bergman (Blazing Saddles, Fletch), director of the original film and author of the screenplay, and the score is by three-time Tony winner Jason Robert Brown (The Bridges of Madison County, Parade). But when they head toLas Vegas to get hitched, smooth talking gambler Tommy Korman (Danza), looking for a second chance at love, falls head over heels for Betsy. Numerous comic escapades involving a crooked poker game, a crazy taxi ride, and a planeful of skydiving Elvis impersonators follow. The original film starred James Caan, Nicholas Cage, and Sarah Jessica Parker.
