Sky Wins It All: Westminster Dog Show Recap

The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is the biggest dog show in the country, and dogs from all over the country are shown off at the two-day, all-breed show that takes place every February at Pier 92 & 94 and Madison Square Garden. Last night at the 138th Westminster Dog Show, the highly coveted Best In Show Trophy was awarded to Sky, the Wire Fox Terrier.

To celebrate her win, Sky made a stop at the Empire State Building today with handler Gabriel Rangel to show off her ribbon. The pooch was just as cute in person as you would imagine, but what set her apart from all the other dogs? Judge Betty Regina Leininger told the Daily News, “She has the ‘it’ factor. She owned this night.”
