‘The Great Gatsby’ in New York City

Calling all Daisy Buchanans and Jay Gatsbys! Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby, based on the book by F. Scott Fitzgerald and starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Emily Mulligan, hits theaters nationwide on Friday, May 10. Its setting—mainly 1920s New York City—has inspired a bevy of parties, cocktails and events across the city that are meant to capture the magic of the Roaring Twenties.
