About Dave & Buster’s
If you’re an adult who longs to relive the days of running around with your friends at the arcade, then it's time for a visit to Dave & Buster's.
Let’s start with the games: the state-of-the-art technology will blow away any systems you have set up in your living room. From getting behind the wheel of a Batmobile or climbing into the cockpit of a Mach Storm simulator to playing Transformers Human Alliance or Deadstorm Pirates, there’s a video game meant to thrill. And for the tamer at heart, there are also games such as Fruit Ninja, Mario Kart, Monopoly, and Simpsons Soccer.
And then there’s the food, which you’ll need either before you hit the arcade (to pump yourself up) or as a respite (to gain a second wind). The Dave & Buster’s Meal Pass includes your choice of entrée (Chicken Fingers with French Fries, Cheeseburger with French Fries, BBQ Chicken served with loaded Mashed potatoes & fresh seasonal vegetables, Parmesan crusted Chicken over linguini in Alfredo Sauce, or a Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad) and a choice of beverage (coffee, tea, or soft drinks). Of course, a full bar is also available for additional beverage purchases; popular drinks include the Fiery Peach Margarita and the Raging Berry Bull, among many others.
With the Dave & Buster’s Meal Pass, you’ll also get a Power Card with 24 chips pre-loaded (a $5 value); Power Cards are the Dave & Buster’s equivalent of a reloadable debit card, where you can store game credits. Plus, if you win tickets in the arcade, you can redeem them in the Winner’s Circle for prizes ranging from Nerf products to Beats by Dre headphones. There are also household appliances, which may come in handy if you want to re-create the Dave & Buster’s cocktails at home with a brand-new blender of your own.
Did you know?
The idea for Dave & Buster’s was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, in the late 1970s, when Buster’s watering hole existed side-by-side with Dave’s “Slick Willy’s World of Entertainment.”
The first Dave & Buster’s location opened in December 1982 in Dallas, Texas; today, there are more than 60 locations in the U.S. and Canada.
Anyone looking to unwind and unleash their inner child will love Dave and Buster’s unique combination of excellent food and exciting entertainment.
Good for kids?
A parent or guardian who is at least 25 years old must accompany guests under the age of 21, and all underage guests must remain with that parent or guardian during their entire visit. Therefore, it might not be the most enjoyable place for kids who think it’s uncool to be in the constant presence of mom or dad. Use your better parental judgment (and be aware that alcohol is served at Dave & Busters).
