About Woodbury Common Premium Outlets - Gray Line NY
Shopping is one of New York's top activities, but sometimes the best way to score designer fashions is to go just outside of the city. And you'll get a bargain, too. At Woodbury Common, the region’s top premium outlet mall, there are 220 stores to choose from, including such top brands as Armani, Balenciaga, Jimmy Choo, Burberry, Chloe, Coach, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, North Face, Michael Kors, Prada, Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th, Tom Ford, Tommy Hilfiger and many, many more. And the best part is that discounts run from 25% to 65%.
Another plus? It's not hard to get there. Board a Gray Line bus at Port Authority and get ready to shop. Once you arrive at the mall, you’ll receive your VIP discount booklet, which will give you even better deals at selected stores and some discounts at the food court.
The mall is in a rural area surrounded by lovely hills, but let’s face it – you’re not here for the scenery. You’re here for the deals. Wear comfortable shoes, because there’s plenty of walking, some of it outside (the setup is kind of like a “town” shopping experience rather than an indoor mall).
If you come on a weekend – or especially on a big sale day such as Black Friday – prepare yourself for crowds and a competitive shopping atmosphere. Just keep your cool and your focus, and you’re sure to find lots of great values that you’ll be bragging about to all your friends for weeks afterward. And as you review your purchases on the way home, you’ll be very glad you don’t have to deal with parking or driving yourself.
Approximately one and a half hours travel time each way, without traffic. Check-in at least 30 minutes prior to departure. Several departures each morning, several returns each afternoon. The time you stay at the mall is up to you.
While the shopping is superb at Woodbury Common, the food choices are nothing to write home about. You might want to consider packing your lunch to optimize your shopping experience.
Did you know?
Don’t be surprised if you see fellow shoppers arriving with empty luggage. Some people come here equipped to buy an entire wardrobe – or several.
Woodbury Common is a must for anyone who enjoys the thrill of getting premium merchandise at cut-rate prices. If you need regular doses of retail therapy, this is the place for you.
Good for kids?
This is not a small-child-friendly destination, although teenagers will probably find lots to covet – and beg for.
