About Quidam by Cirque du Soleil
Immerse yourself in a multi-sensory experience when Cirque du Soleil touches down in Brooklyn for the first time ever with a five-night run of Quidam.
Quidam shines a light on a young girl named Zoe whose home life is unsatisfying. To escape the reality of her lonely existence, she creates an imaginary world inhabited by the kind of wild, magical characters Cirque du Soleil is famous for. The cast of the ambitious show includes over 50 characters, aerialists, acrobats, musicians and singers set against an awe-inspiring backdrop. The show combines a surrealist narrative with world-class acrobatics, the likes of which will leave your jaw dropped and your mind blown.
Two hours and 25 minutes (one intermission)
Did you know?
Performers in Quidam wear more than 200 pairs of shoes, and each one is hand-painted and must be retouched before every performance.
The stage floor is made of rubber with more than 200,000 perforations to allow light to shine through and create the visual effects.
Certainly fans of traditional acrobatics, circus acts, dance and musical theater will find Quidam compelling, but anyone looking for something thrilling, and a little out of the ordinary, will also enjoy this spectacular performance.
Good for kids?
Cirque du Soleil: Quidam was created for the whole family. Still, parents should know that the set grows dark at times and there are powerful noises that may be scary for some.
