Scandalous Tickets

  • About Scandalous

Based on the life of 20th-century evangelical superstar Aimee Semple McPherson, and co-written by Today show host Kathie Lee Gifford, Scandalous: The Life and Trials of Aimee Semple McPherson introduces this once-infamous personality to modern-day audiences when it arrives at the Neil Simon Theatre this November.

Known for her provocative illustrated sermons and passion for headlines, as well as her scandalous love affairs and mysterious disappearance, Aimee Semple McPherson was a major social force and the collision of holiness and Hollywood. Carolee Carmello, Tony Award-nominated for her work in Lestat and Parade, plays the controversial character from her teenage years to maturity and from mega-celebrity to her much-publicized fall from grace.
