About Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man
Based on the best-selling book of the same name, Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man is a hilarious new comedy that offers audiences insider advice that can only be culled from the most insightful of sources: the gay man. In a delightful turn of setting, the play is staged at a fictional university auditorium, where the English department is holding its monthly meet-the-authors event. Robyn, the shy moderator of the event, attempts to facilitate a discussion with the Dan Anderson, the author of the month’s chosen book (which is, of course, Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man).
But a sexy stage assistant named Stefan keeps thwarting Robyn’s efforts to have a productive discussion, aiming to entertain the audience with a theatrical audience-interactive sex tip seminar…and intrigue ensues. Will Stefan’s muscles be used for more than just moving stage props? Will the power of Dan’s tips prove too titillating for even staid Robyn to remain focused on her moderating duties? Only Dan knows, and the audience will soon find out!
