The Tony Awards are the Oscars of Broadway. Stars and industry insiders come together to award the best shows and performances on Broadway. Every year amazing shows open on Broadway, and the 2013-2014 season was no different. New musicals that are up for the 2014 Tony award include After Midnight, Disney's Aladdin, Beautiful – The Carole King Musical and A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, not to mention much-anticipated revivals of Les Miserables, Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Violet.
