About Comfort Inn Theatre District
Located just a few blocks from Times Square, the soothing wall fountain at the entrance of the Comfort Inn Theatre District provides guests the perfect transition from busy street to surprisingly tranquil retreat. The lobby is open and airy, and naturally sunlit thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows. This lofty area also serves as the breakfast room and business center. A complimentary breakfast, including a variety of hot and cold options, is served daily. Guests are welcome to sit in the sunny lobby and read, eat or just hang out.
The building was constructed in 2009 and has 70 rooms spread out over seven floors. Halls are reasonably spacious and decorated with classic black and white prints of old New York. The rooms themselves are respectable in size – no walking sideways around the bed here – and come equipped with flat-screen TVs, an upholstered lounge chair, desk and a small refrigerator.

The alley that connects 44th and 45th Streets, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue, is called Shubert Alley, after the theatre it abuts.
An elevated train ran along nearby Ninth Avenue from the beginning of the 19th Century to 1940.
First-time visitors to New York will appreciate the close proximity to Times Square and many tourist attractions and tours. The hotel’s relatively spacious rooms make it a solid choice for families, while business travelers will appreciate the free Wi-Fi and easy access to Midtown.
