Craigh Barboza, who pens the Cool Job Q&A column, has been a journalist for nearly two decades. He has written about lifestyle, race and culture but also covered entertainment for major publications such as Vibe, Entertainment Weekly, The New York Times, Uptown and GQ. Barboza studied film at New York University in the 1990s and now works at the school's Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute as a career specialist. In 2000, Barboza became a senior editor at USA Weekend Magazine, where for over a decade he produced more than 50 cover stories on cultural luminaries like Steven Spielberg, Henry Louis Gates Jr., Jay Z and LeBron James. He also edited the 2009 book John Singleton: Interviews, which is part of the University of Mississippi's acclaimed series Conversations with Filmmakers, and ran My DVD Insider, a movie website that featured expert commentary and behind-the-scenes exclusives.
