About Valentine's Day Dinner Cruises - Hornblower Cruises
From famous cinematic kisses atop the Empire State Building to marriage proposals in Central Park, New York City gives Paris a run for its money on romance. And that goes double for Valentine’s Day. Anyone can book a candelight dinner – but how about a candlelight dinner while gliding down the Hudson River?
Hornblower Cruises is offering a special Valentine’s Day Cruise on the Hudson River, featuring a four-course dinner, a complimentary champagne toast and tunes from a DJ entertainer. Board the Hornblower Hybrid, the newest and most eco-friendly yacht in the fleet, and take in views of the Manhattan skyline twinkling in the distance and other iconic harbor sights along the way, including Ellis Island, Governors Island, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty.
The ship will be decked out for romance, offering red roses, intimate private tables and an elegant dinner. Start out with an amuse-bouche, followed by an array of choices including crab cake with chipotle mayonnaise, juicy filet mignon, chicken breast stuffed with Gruyere cheese, spinach and sundried tomatoes, salmon with roasted tomatoes and fresh basil, and a flavorful vegetable ravioli. Dessert will be a Valentine’s Day treat called, appropriately enough, the Lovers’ Delight. DJ Kev G will be spinning all night.
Upgrade to the Lovebirds Dinner for a guaranteed table by the window, a half-dozen roses and a chilled bottle of sparkling wine.
The ship sails for a full three hours, so after dinner, head to the spacious outdoor decks to enjoy an intimate moment under the night sky.
The Hornblower Cruises Valentine’s Day Dinner is offered on February 14th and 15th. Boarding starts at 6pm for a 7pm departure. The boat returns at 10pm.
Approximately three hours. Boarding begins one hour prior to departure.
