New York Islanders

The New York Islanders are the ice hockey franchise that represents the Long Island area of New York, east of New York City. A member of the National Hockey League (NHL) since 1972, the Islanders play their home games at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale on Long Island. While the franchise has not won a championship as of late, the Islanders did win four consecutive Stanley Cup titles from 1979-1982. A member of the Atlantic Division of the NHL's Eastern Conference, the New York Islanders face off against rivals like the New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers, New Jersey Devils and Pittsburgh Penguins, as well as the Boston Bruins, Montreal Canadiens, Detroit Red Wings and more..
