What first inspired you to start shooting in NYC and create an Instagram page?
I started using Instagram when it first came out, and I was living in San Francisco. I was already a photographer, and Instagram was the perfect place for me to share my iPhone images. Initially, I used it as a space to share random photos with friends, but it quickly evolved into another avenue through which I could share more creative and artistic images.
What keeps you shooting?
Shooting is what drives me to go out and explore and to see as much of the world as I can. I’ll never stop shooting.
What’s your best tip for someone who wants to capture the city on film?
