Casey Neistat is back doing what he does best: setting a bold goal and inviting the entire internet to keep him honest.
In his latest video titled “Please Don’t Shame Me,” Casey announced that he’s running this year’s New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 2nd, 2025. Last year, he finished with an incredible time of 2 hours, 57 minutes, and 48 seconds, but this time he’s chasing something hilariously specific: shaving off one single second.
To make sure he stays on pace, Casey’s asking fans to track him live on the New York Road Runners app (NYRR). Just open the app, tap “Track Runners,” and type in Casey Neistat. You can follow his run in real time, and yes, he’ll know you’re watching.
“I need you to hold me accountable,” he says in the video. “If I don’t hit my goal… just say good job or something. You don’t have to shame me.”
Classic Casey: humble, hilarious, and always pushing the line between human and superhuman.
You can bet we’ll be watching. 👀
