SPRING IN NY

The winter is over, and NYC is in bloom! Here, our recommendations on top things to do this season.

More Information About SPRING IN NY

At long last, winter is over and New York City is in full bloom. This is one of the best times of year to head outside and see what the city has to offer.

This is the time of year when warm weather attractions such as open air cruises and bike tours are gearing back up again. World Yacht and Hornblower Cruises & Events are two such cruises. These harbor trips will serve you dinner and drinks while you absorb the city skyline in the distance. Bike rentals and tours from companies like Bike and Roll and Blazing Saddles are also available again. You can take a guided tour of Central Park, or rent a bike and explore on your own.

Spring brings greenery back to Central Park and one of the best ways to see the trees waking up from winter is to head to Top of the Rock. The views are also spectacular from the Empire State Building, which is offering a new self-guided tour this season.

The spring Broadway season is also heating up. Larry David's new play 'Fish in the Dark' and Helen Mirren's turn as Queen Elizabeth II in 'The Audience' are the season's hottest tickets. There are lots of great musicals to choose from as well, including a revival of 'The King and I' and new shows like 'Finding Neverland' and 'An American in Paris.' And of course classic shows like ‘Phantom of the Opera’ and ‘Wicked’ are hot tickets no matter the season.
