SUMMER IN NY

Summer is the best time to be in New York City, when the weather heats up and hot events are happening across the five boroughs

More Information About SUMMER IN NY

We love New York all 365 days, 52 weeks and four seasons of the year. But there really is something special about summer in the city. Everyone flocks outside to hang in the many perfect parks, while restaurants with rooftops (or really any kind of outdoor seating) are filled with those who want their dinner and drinks with a side of sunshine. And since it stays light later, there is more opportunity to catch a sunset from rooftops with amazing views. Sure it gets hot. But that's the perfect time to duck into one of the cities world-class museums, which are hosting some pretty amazing exhibits this summer from Van Gogh at the Metropolitan Museum of Art to nature photography at the American Museum of Natural History. We’re also planning out the perfect summer Saturdays in New York, whether you are looking to entertain the kids, spend time appreciating the city's amazing architecture or explore New York's natural side with tours through the city’s many parks. We'll also be offering up the best events every weekend from now until Labor Day. Check back often for the latest and greatest on New York City in the summer.
